It's been 20 years since an unknown person stepped in the way of a tank convoy on Tiananmen Square to stop them during a bloody protest for democracy in China. Until this day nobody knows who the "Tank Man" was. I made this little tribute to him.

Ma volt húsz éve, hogy egy ismeretlen férfi a tankok elé lépett a Tiananmen téren egy, a demokráciáért vívott véres tüntetés során.. Máig nem tudja senki, hogy ki volt a "tank ember".

Let me introduce you the Canadian sports clothing firm Ironhead. They make high quality stuff: tees, hoodies, caps, all with good designs on them. AC/DC and Evander Holyfield are just two of the celebrities who continuously use Ironhead apparel. Its owner is Mike Regan ex-pro hockey player. He contacted me to make some designs for them. I hope its gonna be a long lasting work relationship. 

Had mutassam be a kanadai Ironhead nevű céget. Jó minőségű cuccokat gyártanak: pólókat, kapucnis pulóvereket és sapkákat, mindegyiket jó grafikai elemekkel és viszonylag kis példányszámban. Sok híresség, köztük az AC/DC és Evander Holyfield is rendszeresen fellépnek az Ironhead ruháiban. A cég tulajdonosa Mike Regan ex-profi jégkorong játékos, ő keresett meg, hogy dolgozzam velük néhány projekten. Remélhetőleg egy hosszú munkakapcsolat elé nézünk együtt.

Well, nobody knew the answer. The last "who is he" character, Peixeira was from the brazilian movie Carandiru. A very good movie by the way. I came up with various options to illustrate Peixeira, but I didnt like the first two. The third at last came out much more dynamic and aggressive. 

Nadie sabia la respuesta. El caracter, Peixeira fue de la pelicula tremenda brazileira Carandiru. Hize varias opciones para Peixeira, pero solo la tercera salio bien dinamico y agresivo.

Senki nem tudta a választ a legutóbbi "Who is he" feladványra. Peixeira, az -egyébként nagyon jó- brazil filmből, a Carandiruból való. Több próbát is ejtettem a figurával, de csak a harmadik lett elég dinamikus és agresszív.

Gold Diggers vs AIDS

One of my strangest projects ever.

I had to make an illustration for a campaign to prevent freelance gold diggers in Guayana to get AIDS from prostitutes and to use condom ...The client really liked the illustration I made for the "Biscet" project, so they wanted a very similar approach.

Uno de mis proyectos mas extranos.
Tuve que hace una ilustracion para una campana contra la SIDA entre cazafortunas en Guayana. El cliente le gusto mucho mi ilustracion de Dr. Biscet, entonces quiso un estilo muy parecido.

Egyike a legfurább munkáimnak.
Illusztrációt kellett készítenem egy kampányhoz ami felhívná a Guayanai aranybányászok figyelmét hogy használjanak óvszert amikor rendszeresen látogatják a helyi prostituáltakat... a kliensnek tetszett a Dr. Biscetről készült illusztrációm, ezért nagyon hasonló stílust szeretett volna látni.

Speechless....GENE UPSHAW 1945-2008

One of the greatest players in NFL history, Hall of Famer Gene Upshaw died yesterday at the early age of 63. 

I made this portrait of him some years ago in Mexico... Now its more than a portrait to me.

Its unbelievable how many of my personal favorites have gone this year. This is definitely one of the worst years in this aspect...I hope I wont have to mourn for nobody else this year.

Tegnap elhunyt az NFL egyik legjobb volt jékosa, Gene Upshaw. Még csak 63 éves volt. Néhány éve csináltam róla ezt a kis portrét, ami számomra most már több mint portré. 

Hihetetlen hogy hány kedvencem ment el az utobbi időszakban.. remélem nem kell idén többet gyászolnom itt a blogon.
